The Royal Mansion stands out for its unique approach to landscape design, covering a total of 4,480 square meters. The design team embarked on an exploration journey with an open space coherent storyline. The landscape complements the architecture and site, forming a complete, comfortable space that encourages interaction with nature.
The design was realized through a process of integration, incorporating elements adapted to the local origins. The unexpected pure curves and memorable light decorations enhance the natural beauty of the site. The design team aimed to preserve the primitive state of nature, providing a significant reference point for residents.
The design features a series of winding paths under the forest, providing a storyline for visitors. With several attractions along the path, visitors can embark on a journey of woods exploration. The hardscape material, including bamboo trestle, terrazzo scenery wall, mirror installation, and rope net platform, provides natural tension. The softscape breaks the traditional clustered planting form, dominated by woods of clear trunks and large areas of ornamental grasses, offering beautiful four seasons scenery.
The project started in June 2019 and was completed in November 2019. The design team faced the challenge of maintaining continuity of expression through separate themes, despite the municipal greenery on the site. The designers intended to recreate an aesthetic landscape extending to the site.
The Royal Mansion is a spearheading and energetic project. The abundant natural environment allows children to experience and explore nature. The design is a testament to Qidi Design Group's commitment to creating spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and engaging.
The design was awarded the Golden A' Landscape Planning and Garden Design Award in 2022, a testament to its outstanding and trendsetting creation that reflects the designer's prodigy and wisdom. The award is granted to products and ideas that advance art, science, design, and technology, embodying extraordinary excellence and significantly impacting the world with their desirable characteristics.
